The order was simple: jack a bunch of ditto that had somehow absorbed immense amounts of Infinity Energy and retrieve for breeding of stock pokemon. Mint was used to little heists and steeling. He'd bungled some up, and other's he'd finished successfully. This he had high hopes for. Disguised and quiet, he moved towards the facility expecting no issues, no patrols. A convenient gap in their security and scheduling to be abused by him. [break][break]

And then the sparks flash. "Shit." [break][break]

He's not even inside yet. Does he kill the Emolga? Can he even find it again? The Arbok at his side is hissing, eyes straining for the source of the as he GLAREd at what he thought was the culprit before slithering after Mint as his trainer took a slightly different approach to the facility, making a run for it.

emolga is under strict orders not to engage but it figures its trainer won't be able to stop it if they aren't there, right? better run faster, danny.[break][break]

until then, emolga is more than content with facing the GLARE head-on. one of its little canines shows as it smirks before diving off to swoop down at the arbok to slam into it for an ACROBATICS attack.[break][break]

it doesn't take long for danny to arrive at the scene. quickly, he scans the area before deciding to just run to the facility.

When the Emolga doesn't stop Mint continued to press forward, calling for Fetuccine to stay close despite the onslaught. It let out a pained hiss at the ACROBATICS but is quick to retaliate again with GUNK SHOT, opening its mouth to let out a poisonous spray at the electric type. [break][break]

The Arbok is about to lunge backwards for it when his trainer whisper yelled a protest. "Don't! Wanna get fried?" he asked. "Just kill it at range." he added as the pair moved closed to the hatchery, skidding through shrubbery and making it to a back exit. Aside from the Emolga not much else is around, but he has an exit strategy in mind anyway. Still, the thing was onto them and wouldn't let up. Was their intel wrong? Whatever keep going. [break][break]

He can see the designated entry point and he darted for it, letting his partner move in for the attack as needed while Mint dealt with the door.

GUNK SHOT splats against emolga, getting into its eyes to effectively blind it for the moment. it's what allows the arbok to continue its assault on the electric-type.[break][break]

but danny's quick to arrive at the facility, and it's there that he notices someone slipping in through the door.[break][break]

a pokeball bursts open, sending one half of the doublade SHADOW SNEAKING forward to intercept mint.[break][break]

danny is close behind.
